50th Wedding Anniversary

The children of Bill and Mary Diederich donated a new
processional Cross to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, Virginia in
honor of Bill and Mary's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Most of the
children were baptized at Sacred Heart, and the family attended Mass there
for many years. Bob, Charlie and Mike served as Altar Boys there,
and Charlie remembers that the old Processional Cross was rickety even at
that time. Sacred Heart was a wonderful Catholic community, and it
is hoped that the parishioners fondly remember the Diederich family that
once attended there when they see the Cross.
